The SCOUT system is ideally suited to gain maximum benefit from the high density PXI switch modules offered by Pickering. By utilizing PCB and flex circuit connection techniques between Pickering PXI modules and the SCOUT receiver, unprecedented wiring densities can be achieved.

Fully Enclosed Wiring, Simplified Integration, Simplified Maintenance
DAKs (Direct Access Kits) provide a straightforward interconnection between PXI modules and SCOUT receiver modules.
This connection may be accomplished using printed circuit boards, short wire or flex based circuits as opposed to conventional hinged mass interconnect receiver designs, providing optimum connectivity performance while reducing wiring cost.
